Candidates possessing Diploma or Degree in Education and Training certification and interested to work as teachers in Primary or Upper Primary schools needs to take this exam. Candidates intersted to work as Primary teacher for Class I to VI needs to qualify in Paper I of Sikkim TET, where as Paper II is for Upper Primary Teachers of Class VI to VIII children. It is worth noting here that qualified candidates will be awarded with the eligibility certificate to work as teacher in the schools approved by Governement of Sikkim as well as preferred for recruitment in to permanent jobs based on requirement.
